If you’ve been itching for an atmospheric mystery to uncover on your Nintendo Switch then PQube and Appnormals Team might have you covered with Stay.

In the game you are the sole point of contact for a therapist called Quinn, who is locked in a strange room with only a computer to keep him company. Via a chat room you relay messages to him to either help him escape or maintain his torment, so yep, it can get pretty dark. Check out the trailer:

It isn’t all just sitting around watching him, however, as you can take control of his actions during various puzzle segments. Most intriguing of all is the fact it’s all real time – if you stop playing the game you’ll come back and find time has passed normally and you’ve left Quinn to his own devices.

Stay launches for the Nintendo Switch this summer.
