One of my personal favorite announcements from this year’s E3 was confirmation that Tales of Vesperia would not only be getting ported to modern consoles, but that the Nintendo Switch would be among them. Often regarded as one of the best games in the Tales franchise, I’m very eager to finally give it a shot after it was an Xbox 360 exclusive in the west for so many years.

A new trailer for the Definitive Edition from Anime Expo has been released showcasing many of the game’s features, several of which were only seen in the Japan-exclusive PS3 version. Check it out:

I can’t wait to give that Mr. Driller costume a whirl this winter!

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.

I have only played a little bit of Tale of Symphonia for Gamecube and its prequel on the Wii. Glad to see the series coming back to a Nintendo console. Will definitely be giving this game a go.
