Cinematic storytelling in games may seem second nature these days, with quality ranging and changing considerably at every turn. If you ever wanted to see one of the first, great examples you need look no further than Another World.

Released as Out of This World in America back in 1991, the game told its science fiction story through both cutscene and real-time events in the game itself. It’s no stranger to other platforms, and now it can be played anywhere on the Switch in both retro and HD visuals as a port supervised by original creator, Éric Chahi.

Another World is available now in the Switch eShop for $9.99.
