Smash amiibo collectors rejoice and weep for your wallet, as Nintendo of Japan has confirmed that returning veterans who never got amiibo in the initial run will be getting their own figures, specifically name-dropping Pichu and Ice Climbers.

The other veterans without amiibo include Snake, Wolf, Young Link, and the Pokémon Trainer with Squirtle and Ivysaur. These, plus the confirmed Ridley and Daisy amiibo, mean we’ll potentially be getting more than ten new figures!

Nintendo asks fans to “please wait” for more information. Here’s hoping it won’t be too long!

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.

That had to be a given. We should also expect to see restocks of the original SSB Amiibo starting with wave 1 alongside Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Atleast that’s what i’m hoping for. There’s so many that have become hard to find online and you may find a Falco or Ness and that’s about it.
