I’ve been playing plenty of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle since release and part of that’s thanks to the free download of Character Pack 1. Anyone that feels their roster needs a further boost, though, I’ve got good news and bad news. The bad is that Pack 1, starting today, will no longer be free – if you haven’t grabbed it yet you better check the eShop ASAP just in case. As for the good news – Packs 2 and 3 will be available and if you’ve grabbed the All-In-One pass you can start playing them after updating the game.

While the individual packs may not be on the eShop at the time of this writing, today’ll also add RWBY’s Yang Xiao Long as a permanent, free, downloadable addition to the game just like her teammate Blake. That’s not all that’s new though, as the update to version 1.10 manages a couple character specific bugs and some other issues that were centered on the game’s online play. You can check the full patch notes on Arc System Works’ website, which is hopefully the start of a new trend for future updates.

That’ll do it for all known and confirmed BBTag characters being added to the game, with only datamined additions yet to be shown off in full. Whenever they’re officially announced we can expect them sometime starting in August based on since-removed eShop listings.
