Even if the nearly complete Splatoon 2 Sanrio Splatfest crossover only features four characters, that doesn’t mean the rest can’t get in on the fun in their own ways. Over the last few days, uploads of more Sanrio friends with fresh gear and weapons have been posted. Featuring the same style as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin’s makeovers for the event, they’re bringing plenty more cuteness and smiles.
Pochacco, Badtz-maru, Keroppi, and Kirimi-chan have all received a new coat of ink while staying completely in character. Of course Badtz-Maru would play charger and wear shades; Keroppi’s slosher game would be on point; and Pochacco’s looking right at home with his visor and energetic pose. Special mention has to go to Kirimi though, who’s playing with the game’s own modes in order to represent Salmon Run, rather than a weapon or gear.
The collaboration’s been fun, and with a couple days left until the finals there may be a few more familiar faces getting the same treatment soon.
