Who doesn’t love Knuckles? While Sonic is the fastest thing alive and it’s his name in the titles, this latest episode of Sonic Mania Adventures reminded me why there’s so much to like about this super strong echidna. See him make mistakes, get mad, and mistreat someone he’s just met all in the pursuit of protecting the Master Emerald:
His interactions with the surprise reveal of returning character Ray (searching for their mutual friend Mighty) were amazing, and it wouldn’t be classic Knuckles without a misunderstanding over just who’s out to mess with his giant gem. And let’s not forget that appearance at the end of a certain mechanical menace.
