Ever since the Switch launched, I knew it was only a matter of time before we would start seeing a handheld-only version of the console up for grabs. Now, only a few months past the console’s first birthday, Nintendo has begun to sell a dockless bundle on their Japanese online store.

The product is listed at ¥26,978 and includes a Switch, two Joy Cons, and a pair of Joy Con Straps. In terms of US dollars, that’s around $50 cheaper than the standard model sold with a dock. Customers are able to choose which color Joy Cons and Straps they receive with the bundle as well, and the site even has a handy tool to show you what your bundle will look like.

Since Japan is a very handheld-centric market, this bundle seems like a no-brainer. It may be some time before we see anything like this come to the West, but only time will tell.
