We’re about a month away from Mario Tennis Aces, and hot off the heels of the online tournament announcement yesterday we’ve got a new, story mode focused trailer. See what kicks off Mario’s grand tennis adventure below:
Poor Luigi, taken hostage by a tennis racquet. I want to know what’s up with that stoney, possessed Wario and Waluigi though. As you venture around the Mushroom Kingdom, you’ll take on different kinds of matches and minigames to tighten those tennis skills and bolster your stats. I really missed these kinds of elements from the series since they dropped off back on Game Boy Advance, so here’s hoping that “ace” in the title is for more than just show.
You can pick up the game starting June 22nd, but look forward to trying out its free online event beginning June 1st. See you on the court!
