Update: Added info on the Famicom Mini’s return in Japan as well.

It was announced last year that the notoriously hard to find NES Classic would be eventually returning to store shelves sometime in 2018. Today we’ve learned exactly when it’ll let you revisit all those retro favorites, and it’s right around the corner.

Coming back in a little over a month, Nintendo is assuring that both it and the SNES Classic will be available throughout the year. Initially thought to be more limited, there’s hope now for fans and collectors alike who may’ve missed them the first time around.

For those looking to import, the Famicom Mini will also be returning to Japanese stores on June 28th. Featuring differences in its lineup, design, and controllers it’s a fun alternative to its American cousin.

Stick with us for more info and notifications on their availability in the near future.
