The official Nintendo Switch Online webpage has been updated with a few new details regarding the upcoming service. Most interesting is the inclusion of cloud saves for those who sign up.

The update reads:

We will store save data in the main body via the Internet. Data can be prevented from being lost even in the event of a failure. (Except for some software)

According to the page, some software will not be supported, but there’s no word about which titles fall under this category.

It was also revealed that the service will include 20 NES titles when it launches, with more added on a regular basis. The titles announced so far include the following:

  • Soccer
  • Tennis
  • Donkey Kong™
  • Mario Bros.™
  • Super Mario Bros.™
  • Balloon Fight™
  • Ice Climber™
  • Dr. Mario™
  • The Legend of Zelda™
  • Super Mario Bros.™ 3

Stay tuned to Nintendo Wire for more details on the Switch Online service as we approach its September release.
