It’s been May for a couple days and that means we’re just a few weeks from the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection’s release. Encompassing a huge portion of the series on one Switch cart, it can be a lot to take in if you only know the basics or got interested through Ryu in Smash. Capcom’s got you covered though, with a new multi-part video series all about this fighting game legend.

While there’s some good info on the original Street Fighter, this first video focuses mostly on Street Fighter II and its many versions and their differences. It’s all taking me back to my own arcade experiences and reminding me why these games matter so much for both fighting and video games as a whole.

Be on the lookout (hopefully) for another one of these explaining Street Fighters Alpha and III soon, and be ready to cash in some saved up quarters when the collection releases on May 29th.
