While the franchise is nowhere near as popular in the west as some of the company’s other JRPG properties, Square Enix has been oddly supportive of the SaGa series lately. It seems like the trend will continue, too, with the latest entry apparently set for an English localization.

SaGa: Scarlet Grace released for the PlayStation Vita in Japan back in 2016 and an enhanced port is heading to Switch, PS4 and PC in the region this August. Series creator Akitoshi Kawazu addressed a question asking about an English version on Twitter (translation via Gematsu), stating that “August 2 is only the release date for the Japanese version. The English version will be dealt with at a later date.”
