Pool Panic, one of the titles from the recent Nindies Showcase, is promising to be the least realistic pool simulator ever. That definitely seems to be the case, with a trailer dedicated to several of the things you’ll see and do over the course of its cueball-fueled adventure.

Coming from Adult Swim Games, its 100+ levels all look to control via billiard-esque means, but the goals and objectives can vary considerably. Mini golf may not be a stretch, but when you’re busting up dive bars and toppling giant spiders, who’s to say what is or isn’t possible anymore?

What’s really grabbing me is the end of the trailer. Our playable cueball seems almost compelled to strike others, caught up in an existential tug-of-war that might drive the whole world to ruin or just shatter his poor, spherical state of mind. Either way, it looks fun to me!

Pool Panic will be coming “soon” to Switch, with hopefully a solid date announcement just around the corner.
