If you’re familiar with Japanese culture you may know the name GREE. The developer/social media platform has been huge in the region for years now, but it’s only just starting to branch into console game development. Following the announcement of Fishing Star, the studio’s next port to Switch is the time travel RPG Another Eden.

What may grab your interest is that the game is written by Masato Kato, who wrote Chrono Trigger. Also in common with that game? The composer Yasunori Mitsuda, who you may also remember from last year’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Check out some gameplay from the mobile version below, though it’s likely the UI will be changed up quite a bit for the Switch port.

While it’s unlikely the game will be localized, there’s always the possibility. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date.
