If you’ve been intrigued by Valkyria Chronicles 4 which is heading to Switch later this year but have yet to experience the franchise, you may be in luck. As part of Sega Fes, the company announced it will be porting the game that started it all to the Nintendo Switch in Japan this fall.
#セガフェス #valkyriahttps://t.co/DG3qMBEUnb pic.twitter.com/E7tGv2HwYf— セガ公式アカウント (@SEGA_OFFICIAL) April 15, 2018
The game will be download only and those who purchase Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be able to purchase it at a discounted price. It’s worth noting that you don’t necessarily need to play the games in order, as they take place concurrently.
Given we already know 4 is heading west later this year, this port of the first game seems inevitable too. We’ll bring you more coverage as both games near release.
