BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is one of my most anticipated games for this summer, and thanks to a new trailer today, that excitement’s only grown. Featuring a look at some of the earliest revealed characters interacting with each other while fighting, it highlights just how much the “cross” and “tag” aspects of the game work.

The BlazBlue cast gets Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi, working together while making their feelings for each other painfully clear (with the dubbed return of these characters being more than welcome). On a lighter trend, we get Yu Narukami and Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4 Arena much more in sync, working like any pair of partners should. For Under Night: In-Birth it’s Hyde and Linne, this being the characters’ first times being voiced in English. Last but not least is half of team RWBY, with Ruby Rose in particular bringing a little levity and a lot of pep.

You can look forward to playing and hearing more about BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle when the game releases on June 5th.
