Rarely do I see a game that just clicks with me on nearly every level, but #Breakforcist Battle from Lucid Sheep Games does just that. I have a fondness for breakfast food that could rival Ron Swanson and my go-to adjective in nearly any circumstance is “haunted.” That’s why when I heard about this mashup of pancakes and poltergeists I was intrigued, but it was the art and music courtesy of Pete Ellison that sealed the deal faster than you can say “pass the syrup.”

It’s bright, it’s peppy, it’s cute, and it’s full of characters for me to fall in love with. Bringing on classic brick breaker style for gameplay and plenty of options for local multiplayer good times, it looks to be more than just a piece of toast. This is a full sensory overload meal to help you take on the day with plenty of sugary sweetness for good measure, and I’m grabbing seconds of all this ghosty goodness.

Look forward to #Breakforcist Battle’s Switch debut on April 12th.
