Narrative-focused puzzle game The Spectrum Retreat heading to Switch | Nintendo Wire

Publisher Ripstone Games has announced that it will be bringing the first-person puzzle game The Spectrum Retreat to the Nintendo Switch sometime this year. Set in the near future, the player checks in to the unsettling Penrose Hotel, a refuge from the outside world.

A prototype of the narrative-focused game released in 2016 won then-18 year old Dan Smith the BAFTA Young Game Designer award. Check out the trailer for the full release below:

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
