Coming out of Dutch Comic-Con, GameXplain has a stage’s worth of Funky Kong gameplay. Caught over the shoulder in handheld mode, it’s a great way to see how the game handles on the newer platform with its newest character.
While there’s not much to comment on in terms of the stage, it’s great to see Funky surfing his way through with his fun-loving style. Even with having found every last collectible and stage in the game back on Wii U, the coolest Kong around is enough reason for me to give it another go on Switch.
Look forward to Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on Switch starting May 4th.
