With a new month almost here, another Splatfest is on the way. Announced tonight, North America and Europe are getting their own themes.
For those with North American copies of the game, it’s time to play some baseball! Or soccer. Yes, these two sports are being pitted against one another. Pearl will be repping Team Baseball and Marina taking the reins for Team Soccer. Whether you’re swinging or ready to kick off, the Splatfest will commence on April 6th 9 p.m. PT | April 7th at 12 a.m. ET.

As for Europe, it’s all about snacks — specifically, popcorn. It’s all about flavor profiles this time: Do you think popcorn should be salty or sweet? Yes, prepare for all the salt jokes before, during, and after this Splatfest! Team Salty versus Team Sweet will commence on April 7th, overlapping the North American Splatfest by 14 hours.
