Trainers who got in on the first two gens of Pokemon have something to be excited about, because three familiar faces have made their way to Pokkén Tournament DX. Squirtle’s final evolution Blastoise is the main attraction here, to the point of having his own dedicated trailer to show just a little of what he can do.
With plenty of projectile attacks and followups, as well as the ability to withdraw into its shell, Blastoise looks like a great fit with the existing cast of fighters. As for Mew and Celebi, these two Mythical monsters are always welcome as far as I’m concerned, hopefully with abilities befitting of their status.
