Indies on Switch have been a great success by any metric, what with some studios quite literally being saved by the platform. Now, just after yesterday’s Nindie Spring Showcase, Nintendo has released a list of the ten best-selling games on the platforms. They are as follows, in no defined order:
- Stardew Valley
- Steamworld Dig 2
- Celeste
- Overcooked Special Edition
- Enter the Gungeon
- Kamiko
- Fast RMX
- Golf Story
- NBA Playgrounds
- Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
It’s a surprisingly diverse list, with small budget fare like Kamiko alongside multiplayer favorite Overcooked and critical darlings like Shovel Knight and Steamworld Dig 2. It’s also notable that Celeste and Enter the Gungeon are very recent releases, showing that traction for indies is still growing.
Each game that’s sold well is great in its own right, so give them a look in the eShop and see if any spark your interest.
