This May the “Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth” will be heading to the Bay Area once again, and this time the lead sponsor is Nintendo. This is all thanks to the upcoming interactive construction kit platform that is Nintendo Labo, which, with it’s accessible programming systems and physical elements, makes for a perfect Maker Faire showing.

Returning for its 13th year, the Maker Faire Bay Area brings over 100,000 visitors to its San Mateo venue for hands-on time with the latest creative inventions and projects. This is what Doug Bowser, Nintendo’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, had to say:

“Maker Faire represents the pinnacle of DIY ingenuity and culture, making it a great place to share the interactive fun of Nintendo Labo. We look forward to seeing what this passionate community of inventors, artists and tinkerers creates once they get their hands on the different Nintendo Labo kits.”

Maker Faire will take place from May 18 to May 20, and tickets for the faire are available for purchase now!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
