Independent developer Adrian Lazar has teamed up with publisher Team17 to bring Planet Alpha to the Nintendo Switch and other platforms later this year. The atmospheric platform adventure game has been in development for over four years now and it seems to borrow heavily from an early science fiction aesthetic, something which shows in the visually impressive trailer below:
 

 
You’ll be able to play Planet Alpha on Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC later in 2018. While a physical release isn’t confirmed, it seems likely considering Team17 has brought out physical copies of Yooka-Laylee, The Escapists and more before. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date.
