The Cthulu-infused Japanese dungeon-crawler The Lost Child has been confirmed for a Nintendo Switch release this summer by publisher NIS America.

Directed by Sawaki Takeyasu, who previously worked on the critically acclaimed El Shaddai, The Lost Child puts you in the shoes of occult reporter Hayato Ibuki who gains the ability to capture demons after a run-in with a mysterious woman. Check out the story trailer from earlier this month:

Hopefully we’ll see even more gameplay in the months leading up to the game’s Summer 2018 release.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
