At this point, a sequel to Sonic and Sega All-Star Racing Transformed is either the industry’s worst kept secret or the biggest practical joke ever. New week, new leak. This time, a user from The Sonic Stadium named “Larry” claimed to have knowledge of the game’s existence. This user says the game was originally slated for Q1 2018 release but is now likely for this holiday season.

Most interestingly (and disappointingly), Larry claims that the game will only feature Sonic characters, with amazing additions like Vyse, Ryo, and Danica Patrick not returning. What lends this rumor some credence is that the moderators at The Sonic Stadium confirmed that this user is the one who leaked the existence of the character creator in Sonic Forces.

As always, we’ll keep you updated when the next leak happens next week, if history is any indicator.
