Newest workaround for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp startup issue | Nintendo Wire

We’ve heard you loud and clear, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp fans! The team behind the game has finally figured out a proper workaround for those who didn’t have any luck with the recent fix. For those who shared their frustration in the comments section of our last article, then you’ll be happy to know that the next set of “how to” instructions is quite simple.

At 2:00 a.m. PT on February 17th, an update will be added to the App Store and Google Play. Once downloading this new update, you’ll be able to return to your camp manager duties and partake in the latest new events.

If, for whatever reason, you are unable to update the app, the dev team has also posted guides on how to solve this for iOS and Android users.

There’s no word if an apology gift will be given to those affected by this issue, but we’ll be keeping an eye on the app’s in-game announcements tab for any news regarding that.

    My iphone 7 is up to date and i updated the app on feb 17th and it still wont work. I get a blue screen then a black screen

    I was able to update from the App Store, but when I open the game, it shows the splash screen and then a black screen.

    Help. I have downloaded the newest update and changed the language setting and I am still locked out of the game. This is so frustrating. I have never missed a day and have many friends I help everyday. They Probably think I’m one of those players who quit the game. As many have since the flower creature festival. Please help. Any other suggestions. Or is Nintendo aware of this situation and still trying to fix it ? My sisters game is working. She plays on andriod. I play on iOS .

    I just logged into the game as usual from my iPhone. It’s the only device I’ve used, and the game completely started over as though I had never played it before! Everything is gone! It recognized my name – heidiceleste – but my data is gone. I was level 156 and cannot believe it’s all gone. Please help!
