Today’s rumor that would make a ’90s kid lose their mind is brought to us by ResetEra user Wrestleman. This rumor comes from Max Arguile, the Licensing Manager at a European licensed merchandising company called GB Eye. In the new “Licensing Source Book Europe,” Arguile states that the N. Sane Trilogy on PS4 was a huge success without any merchandise-based marketing, and that Activision has a five year plan for the franchise. This includes a new game in 2019 and, most excitingly for us, a port of the N. Sane Trilogy on Nintendo Switch and PC.

If true, this would be the first time the original trilogy would be playable on a non-Sony system. While Crash has appeared on Nintendo consoles, including Game Boy Advance and Wii games, as well as a Skylanders figure, the beloved original trilogy would be an amazing addition to the Switch’s already stellar lineup. Now, if Crash could join Smash with Mario and Sonic, I think we could achieve world peace.
