Nintendo of America has announced on Twitter that Nintendo Switch Online services will launch in September 2018.

 

Originally announced all the way back in January 2017, Nintendo Switch Online will allow players to connect with one another for online play sessions via a smartphone app, and it’ll even allow voice chat for select titles. The service will retail for $3.99 a month, or $19.99 per year, and it will include downloads for classic Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Balloon Fight.
