If you’re a fan of strategy games 2018 is shaping up to be quite the year for them, with one of the most notable being the long-awaited Valkyria Chronicles 4 from Sega. Releasing for PS4 in Japan this March, and for the Nintendo Switch in the summer, marketing for the game is ramping up in its home region.

One of the game’s first pieces of DLC, available with first-print PS4 copies in Japan, crosses over with the original entry in the series, as both take place concurrently. The new cast of characters will fight alongside the likes of Welkin and Alicia in a joint operation. Once beaten, they will become units for you to use in the rest of the game.
