UPDATE: Finji, the publisher of the game on Switch, said an error was made, and that the game will actually release on February 1st. It will not release this Thursday.

More and more indie titles are gracing the Nintendo Switch all the time, and there have been some bona fide gems released for the console. It appears another one will be gracing the console this very week, as an eShop listing has shown that 2017’s Night in the Woods will be hitting the console this Thursday.

Developed by Infinite Fall, Night in the Woods follows the story of a cat named Mae Borowski, who returns to her hometown of Possum Springs after dropping out of college. Hoping to reconnect with friends and family, she soon finds that people around town have changed, and that strange things are going down as night approaches. The game is a story-driven adventure full of puzzles and interesting characters in a vibrant 2D world, and released last year to much acclaim.

The game will retail for $19.99, and release this Thursday. You can check out the official Nintendo page for the game for more info.
