Jools Watsham, head of game company Atooi, has issued an important question for Chicken Wiggle fans. The platformer was released last year on the Nintendo 3DS and since then has had fans begging for the game to jump onto the Nintendo Switch. Five months later, Mr. Watsham wants to know if that fervor is still there by tweeting out the following this morning:
Gauging interest in bringing CHICKEN WIGGLE: RE-HATCHED to #NintendoSwitch via a @kickstarter campaign. This is a port of the 3DS game – including level editor and online sharing – with beautiful new HD artwork (+ retro option). Please RT, Like, Comment. Get plucky! ❤️?❤️ pic.twitter.com/qhs9sNhlv1

Chicken Wiggle: Re-hatched would be a complete port of the 3DS game, and it would have graphical options. The Nintendo Switch version of the game would only become a reality if fans could back it à la Kickstarter. There’s currently no fundraising link for the potential project — and Jools has also explained why it would have to be funded in the form of a Kickstarter project:
This improbable duo has unfinished business! The game did not sell well on 3DS. Everyone said, "We wish this was on Nintendo Switch!" So, let's see if that's true. ❤️ https://t.co/2vjAWMwEwE

If Atooi moves forward with making the race for Chicken Wiggle: Re-hatched a reality, then this won’t affect the company’s progress with Treasurenauts’ journey of being ported to the Nintendo Switch. Jools promises that more information about the game’s progress will be shared this year.
For Chicken Wiggle fans, it’s almost time to put your money where your beak or worm BFF are. Head on over to Jools or Atooi’s Twitter accounts and let them know whether or not you’d support Chicken Wiggle: Re-hatched on Kickstarter!
