We’re already a week into the New Year, but you might want to tack on one last resolution. The News channels on the Switch’s homescreen (the red icon, to the left of the eShop) is one of these things it seems like no one uses all that much. It might be worth a look at every now and then though.

Just the other day, Nintendo posted an official listing of the most played Switch games so far. This is by total play time, not times started, and is based on North America only. While I’m sure the first few are easy enough to guess, check out the full list below and see where some of your favorites might be:

1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

2. Super Mario Odyssey

3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

4. Splatoon 2

5. Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition

6. Stardew Valley

7. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

8. ARMS

9. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

10. The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+

11. NBA 2K18

12. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

13. Fire Emblem Warriors

14. LEGO City Undercover

15. Sonic Mania

16. Pokkén Tournament DX

17. 1-2-Switch

18. FIFA 18

19. Disgaea 5 Complete

20. Rocket League

Upset as I am over the distinct lack of Puyo Puyo Tetris, the list checks out pretty well. It’s great to see so much love for Stardew, Mario + Rabbids and Disgaea on here in particular, as these were some of my other favorite games of the Switch’s first year outside of Nintendo’s own stable.

With games like Kirby Star Allies, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3 and presumably several more on the way, it’ll be interesting to see how this list changes by next year. That said, I have a feeling the top four are going to be a lock for a long time coming.
