Today NISA announced it will be bringing the Fallen Legion series to Nintendo Switch. Originally seen on PlayStation 4 and Vita, this release will bring together both chapters of the series (Sins of an Empire & Flames of Rebellion) under one name as Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory.

As far as style goes, I’m liking what I see here. You’ll control a squad of characters, each designated to a button on the Switch. As you press them, in time with the enemies’ attacks on you, you’ll queue them up to take their own actions and combine their skills. Keeping an eye on the order of these actions and planning your assault forms the crux of the game, borrowing from Valkyrie Profile in the best of ways.

You’ll be able to grab Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory for Switch sometime in 2018.
