Gift giving can be rough, we all know it. Sometimes there’s that person on your list you just don’t know what to get, and as the deadline gets closer, you become desperate. You’re tired. You’re done.
Even then, sweaters and socks just aren’t acceptable.

Just look at Pearl, absolutely disgusted with that sweater she’s been given. There’s nothing stylish, nothing fresh about that crocheted catastrophe — and her face says it all. Even Marina can’t make the most of her socks here, but you know she’s trying. No doubt she’s thinking how she could hide them with her boots as soon as possible, though that won’t do anything for the horrible, horrible itching.
Still, it’s all about the spirit of giving here, right? And that’s why Nintendo’s giving us all the chance to represent these terrible gifts in this Friday’s Splatfest. Make sure to pick a side and do your best to try and avoid getting one of these gifts yourself.
