Ahead of its Japanese launch a few months ago, Lost Sphear saw a demo release in Japan. While it was possible to set up a Japanese account and download it early on Switch, it being a JRPG with plentiful text made it a tricky proposition. Thankfully the wait is over, as a demo has made its way overseas. Check out the accompanying announcement video from the game’s developers at Tokyo RPG Factory:

To download it on the Switch eShop be sure to head into the “coming soon” section and scroll down, or simply search for the game by name. Surprisingly, it doesn’t contain the same content seen in the Japanese demo or what’s been shown at various events. It also supports English, French and Spanish as well as the native Japanese.

We’ll bring more on Lost Sphear as we approach its January 23rd release date in North America and Europe.
