The final chapter of WayForward’s Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has finally launched, and it promises to be an exciting and interesting adventure. For one, you won’t be playing as Shantae in this installment. Instead, it offers a mechanic where you get to play as Shantae’s three best friends: Bolo, Rotty and Sky, who each offer unique abilities you’ll need to utilize to solve puzzles and explore levels. Together, the three will have have to work towards saving Shantae from dark magic and her own Nightmare Realm. Additionally, the game will offer a leveling mechanic for all three of the playable heroes.
The game will also include remixed locales, new challenge levels, new and fan favorite music, and several different endings depending on the collectibles you pick up.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Friends to the End is available now on the Nintendo Wii U and Switch!
