I’ve seen Street Fighter crossed over with plenty of things, from X-Men to Hello Kitty, but I never would’ve expected this. This time the robots in disguise have scanned not vehicles, but World Warriors, with four figures releasing in the lineup in Japan.

Bringing back the original Street Fighter II intro is a great touch (one Smash Bros. did for its Ryu reveal as well), but it’s the toys themselves that manage to steal the show. There’s just something wonderfully bizarre about these robots morphing into Street Fighter characters. I never thought I’d see Optimus Prime (Convoy in Japan) throwing a Hadoken, but this is the world we live in.

If you’re a collector or just drawn in by the novelty, they’re available to pre-order via Play-Asia now. Sold as a pair of dual packs, you can secure Ryu & M. Bison and Ken & Chun-Li for your collections now before they officially roll out.
