Hot off the mighty mountain of our twitchy TumbleSeed challenge comes yet another ruthless run that’s sure to result in the infamous Koopa King permanently docking your pay. That’s right, fans of plumber powered parkour and minion run marathons: We’re calling out the quickest Koopa Kids Super Mario Odyssey has to offer for a free running rematch of epic proportions.
THE CHALLENGE
Who can get the fastest time in the Lost Kingdom’s ‘Koopa Freerunning’ minigame?
Our claim to fame is 00:27:87, which has potential to break even the most tenacious of turtles among you. The sombrero slinging sprinter with the fastest time by 12:00 a.m. EST will win a coveted $10 eShop card (North America), along with the illustrious title of Fleet-footed Lost Boy.
THE RULES
- Mario must be shirtless and wearing a sombrero, so remember to dress to impress if you want in on that cash prize.
- All submissions must be made using the Switch’s 30 second video capture feature. No leaderboard snapshots will be accepted for today’s challenge. Don’t worry if the first few seconds of your run get cut off.

After that, simply snap a quick video using your Nintendo Switch (as shown below) and share it in the Twitter comments, and we’ll personally send both the prize and a social media shoutout to the winner on Monday afternoon.
