Splatoon 2 is set to see a substantial update, with plenty of gameplay and style additions. But more importantly, we’re getting new music and new insight to squid kid trends and culture, baby!
We already knew of Bottom Feeders, the fiddle fueled punk group, who you can sample now. Better grab your tartan because the party’s just startin’. Their fresh sound is making waves, but they aren’t the only ones.

Meet Ink Theory, an all girl sextet of classically trained musicians. They buck trends though, expressing themselves with a sound all their own. The piano and brass blends together like a perfect sea foam of stylistic splendor.

If there’s one thing I’ve been able to count on with Splatoon 2 it’s unique and appealing designs for its world. Even if these rising stars won’t be rendered in-game, you can bet they already have dedicated fans.
