Ever since the game launched in July, Splatoon 2 has seen a steady splattering of free updates. To close out 2017, though, Nintendo is going all out.
As shown in the video below, new hairstyles are being added alongside more gear, new stages both for normal play and Salmon Run, and the brand new Ranked Battle mode Clam Blitz. There’ll also be a photo mode included, the level cap is being boosted to 99, and gear can be changed in the matchmaking lobby.
The first update will land in just a few days on November 23, with fresh battle stages being added from November 24 onward. The second update will come in mid-December, and will include Clam Blitz.
