Square Enix has been commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Final Fantasy for much of 2017, with celebrations ranging from the heartfelt (the Main Theme tribute competition) to the ridiculous (the Ultima fork). To close out the year, the company is thankfully turning to the former category and holding an art exhibition.

“The Legacy of Art” will be held at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California, from December 2, 2017 through to January 7, 2018. Check out the announcement video starring franchise creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and series manager Shinji Hashimoto:

The official site reveals that the event will feature not only original artwork from the games but also contributions from Joey Chou, Perry Maple Dixon, Helen Kim, Jisoo Kim and Sachin Teng

Admission to the event will be free, so if you’re in the area be sure to go check it out!
