Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was one of my favorite games to play through this summer, and one of the reasons I loved it so much was that its level of difficulty was pretty spot-on. The game ramped it well over time, with later levels and extra maps offering some tricky mechanics and enemy placements to figure out using tactical skills. Even if you didn’t feel you were challenged enough (or you just want more of this game), Ubisoft’s got you covered.
The Ultra Challenge Pack is bringing more maps and a new Co-op Campaign, all of which look way more brutal than anything I can remember. Each world’s unique map obstacles are getting more focus, so you can look forward to planning routes around Chain Chomps and hailing fireballs. Dash attacks are going to be your friend with all those hulking Smasher enemies ganging up, but even with that to rely on, it’s going to take some smart positioning to get through these.
The Ultra Challenge Pack is available to download now for $6.99, or it’s included as part of the game’s Season Pass for those who jumped in early. Good luck to anyone who gives these a go — looks like you’ll need it.
