During Nintendo’s E3 presentation this year, the Nintendo Wire team members’ jaws collectively dropped when the latest Super Mario Odyssey trailer started. After all, we bore witness to a T-Rex roaring and stomping with Mario’s trademark hat and ‘stache, effectively shattering any expectations as to just what could be captured in-game. Now, about a month ahead of release, Game Informer has provided us with an exclusive on the Cascade Kingdom featuring some dinosauric displays.
You’ll see Mario interact with Chain Chomps, do a little light shopping, face off with a Broodal and pull off some Cappy assisted platforming in the video. Then, at the 3:45 mark, our hero stumbles on the sleeping giant and proceeds to take him for a little walk.
It’s all coming together to somehow make me even more excited as Mario Odyssey continues to capture my attention.
