Gearing up for Pokkén Tournament DX’s release next week, Nintendo NY will be hosting a smackdown of a competition next weekend. Planned to take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 23rd, Pokkén participants can line up at 8:30 a.m. to sign up. Only 64 spots are open and players must be 10 years or older. (Minors will have to be accompanied by an adult during the entire duration of the event.)
As of now, these are the only details we have. No prizes have been teased yet, but given how the store’s Splatoon 2 tournament had some slick as ink gold medals for first place, there has to been something pretty sweet beyond bragging rights this time around, too.
