While there have been plenty of roguelikes over the past few years, none are quite as unique as Crypt of the NecroDancer. A rhythm-action dungeon explorer, you have to move down various randomly generated floors to the beat of a stellar soundtrack, taking down all sorts of nefarious creatures along the way.

Now Nintendo Switch owners will be able to join in on the fun, with the game being confirmed in a tweet from Nintendo of America.

That’s right, it’ll have an exclusive new character and some local co-op, perfect for the Joy-Con. We can only guess at who the exclusive character will be; I’ll be over here hoping for an Elite Beat Agent.

We’ll be sure to bring more on the game, including its official release date, as it’s announced.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
