At Gamescom, Nintendo released a new game trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors mostly focusing on the characters from Fire Emblem Fates. Corrin, Xander and Ryoma were already confirmed for the roster and now more of Corrin’s siblings are entering the foray – specifically Leo, Takumi, Hinoka and Camilla. If you have a keen ear, you’ll also notice that this preview has some different voice actors for Takumi, Hinoka and Camilla. Before you grab your swords, just remember there’s still hope for the original actors to be on the project. Corrin’s Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS announcement used different voices than what was used in the final game, and that was two months away from its release date.

Regardless, the barely two minute long video gives us a sense of what to expect concerning how various Fire Emblem games’ stories will be incorporated. Where we join the Fates cast in this realm, it seems like we’ll be back in the beginning chapters of the 3DS game, but with a twist of finding lost siblings. A modge podge of Revelations, but with the bonus of Fire Emblem Warriors’ own original characters and heroes such as Chrom and Lucina aiding the crew.

Still, there’s no solid release date for the game. Despite the September 28th launch set for Japan, and new October 20th date for Europe, Fire Emblem Warriors is still listed for Fall 2017 in North America.
