Fire Emblem Warriors is the 2017 Switch title I’m looking forward to most this side of Super Mario Galaxy. The fast, hack and slash gameplay mixed with the world and characters of Fire Emblem has been on my mind a lot, and a good portion of that has had to do with wondering who’s going to be announced next for its (hopefully) sizable roster of characters. So far, we’ve only seen characters from a few of the series’ titles, leaving plenty of potential additions. We shouldn’t have to wait much longer for a couple of these.

According to this tweet from the game’s official account, we should have some new characters revealed leading into the game’s Japanese release in a little over a month. There’s a few easy guesses, such as Tiki who we know is getting an amiibo alongside the game. Outside of the games we know are getting attention in this one, I’d think Alm and Celica would make easy additions what with their recent resurgence due to their roles in Shadows of Valentia. Still, only time will tell just how deep this roster dives into the worlds of Fire Emblem.
