To celebrate the Nintendo x LeSportsac line that debuted online recently, LeSportsac is hosting some events for the line starting this Friday. Marketed as a “West Coast vs. East Coast” game of sorts, it seems like all attendees will be winners.
Starting off with the East Coast, New York events will be held in a pop-up shop that’s a couple miles south from Nintendo NY — how convenient! Beginning Friday, August 18th, and ending on Monday, September 4th, shoppers can “take a chance on the claw machine to win Nintendo prizes, scratch-off to win prizes and discounts on your purchase, and enjoy sips & sweets” daily.
As for the West Coast, LeSportsac’s Santa Monica, California store will only be participating for two days. On Saturday, August 19th, and Sunday, August 20th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. customers can enjoy having “custom nail art done by celebrity nail artist, Steph Stone, with any purchase, scratch-off to win prizes and discounts on your purchase, and enjoy sips & sweets!”
While similar, each will have their own flair. Plus, if you’re in the area and are itching for that Game Boy pouch, then you might be able to find one in-store over the weekend and not have to wait the one to two weeks for it to come back in stock.
